Tewksbury Township, in Hunterdon County (next to Morris and Somerset Counties) boasts scenic rolling hills, woods and fields, feeling truly in the country. Encompassing the small quaint villages of Oldwick, Mountainville and Pottersville, most of Tewksbury is truly rural... country roads meandering up and down the lovely hills and valleys.

Children attend local schools and then go to high school at Voorhees High School in Glen Gardner. The town works to preserve that country feeling and there is the new Whittemore Wildlife Sanctuary as well as the Christy Hoffman Park as well as horse trails maintained by the Tewksbury Trail Association. Being very close to the USEF, there are many fine stables and riding establishments in the area.

Old homes, especially made of stone, are a delight to find here, but newer executive type homes are for sale as well.  Route 78 provides great transportation to work locations and Newark International Airport.
